May is Monochrome month over at Die Cut Diva's

And it's my turn to challenge you... so Monochromatic it is.... any colour you like, any project you like just as long as your keep it monochromatic and use your die cutting machine.

I chose to use Purples.  One of my favourite colours.  I used light Lilac and a deeper purple Lilac.

Purple Monochrome

I started by embossing my light Lilac with a diamond folder.  I then cut out some of the lighter and darker lilac with a Spellbinders die. I stamped on the light Lilac with some purple distress ink and a Hero Arts stamp.  I layered the labels together and popped onto the embossed panel.  I added some punched butterflies to finish off.

Hope you come and join us here

Hi, Dawn! I love monochromatic themes and your purples are so gorgeous together. And, the dies you have used are striking against that embossed panel!! Very pretty card, my friend.

Dawn your monochromatic cards never seem like one color to me. You fabulously weave in so many interesting elements I forget that you are using one tone!
