I've got a new toy....

Yesterday I shouted myself a new toy.....
A Kobo E-reader.... so have been playing tonight to find some more books to read.... One of the guys at work gave me a pile of Kindle books he got for free and I have converted them and added them.... the entire Harry Porter series ( no I have not read them yet!) plus the latest Janet Evanovich, plus a couple of Lee Child books I haven't read yet.... So I have a good supply to take with me when I go to Mangawhai for Easter weekend.  Still learning how to use it.  But it looks like it will be an awesome addition to my library.   Now to buy the whole Jean Auel series.... including the new one!

Will share a card I made for Penny Black's Flower challenge tomorrow as I'm off to read the User Guide a bit more....

What a great gadget. I think I need one of those as my book shelf is overflowing and I have nowhere to put all my lastest books. I may need to do some 'hint hint'-ing to Nick since Mothers day and the big 3 0 are all coming up..hehe :) xxx

How fun, Dawn! You will LOVE the Harry Potter series! I have wonderful memories of reading all of them to my boys. They never wanted me to stop reading, even though it was bedtime. I had a difficult time putting each book down for the night too! Enjoy!

Wahoo!!! That is nice Dawn, so happy for your new toy!! Enjoy and have fun with it! I've been wanting the Nook Color for quite some time, but the truth of it is, I only have time for occasional reading, and I thought it be best for those who read quite often? I don't know...maybe down the road!

Hi, Dawn! Lucky you! I think having an e-reader would be an AWESOME way to take books with you while you're traveling! Takes up so much less space! Enjoy your new toy! ♥
