First off my Dad's card
This was a freebie from Bird's Cards that I picked up quite awhile ago via Deirdre's blog. I printed it out and used Copics to colour. Sponged around the nestie to give some dimension. PP by Graphic 45 is perfect to mat it on. Dad loved this card.
And for my brother.... I had to make this really quickly to get it in the post so pulled out an old favourite for male cards....
Inspiration for this one came from Karen with her card (here). I used 3 different green distress inks to stamp with, spritzed with some gold Pearlised water. I then added a few dots of gold stickles. The sentiment is a sticker from E.A.D. Designs.
Had an outing today with Yvonne... library for some books, supermarket for a few things and then coffee and date scone... nice to get out and about. The weather has packed in and is cold and wet.... making walking a bit unpleasant, but will have to persevere.
A big thank you too, to all the lovely ladies who have sent me cards. Much appreciated everyone. And an order from Simon Says arrived today... just a little one - one stamp, 2 dies and some Picket Fence stain. Dying to try it out...
