A Critter Christmas

Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog are having a Christmas challenge.... it's week 3 and the theme is Green + Trees.  I have a cute little Hedgie stamp called " to have and to hug".... a little hedgie holding a Christmas tree.  So I dug him out.... coloured and cut him with a spellbinders oval die...and here's what happened.

Christmas Tree

I co-ordinated three patterned papers from Hot of The Press "Forever Christmas Cards" paper stack.  The sentiment tag is also from this stack.   I added a little red and green ribbon and hey presto, my card was done.  Now looking at it, I think I need to add some gems somewhere...what do you think?

This card is also being entered into:
Wee Memories ~ Woodland Animals
Penny Black and More @ Allsorts ~ All creatures Great and Small
and maybe pushing the window a bit.... City Crafter Challenge ~ four legged friend.

I've had a great day... started the morning working on some projects for an upcoming Mygrafico Feature and then made a card for a friend who is turning 40 in the weekend... will share later in the week.... and then finished with this one.... now it's time to do the ironing so we can have some clothes to wear to work next week...:(  my least favourite job!

Hope your weekend has been good for you.  Take care

Dawn

Adorable card...I love that little hedgie with the Christmas tree. I love the ribbon accent and think it looks done, but then I don't usually use gems. The glittery star adds just the right sparkle! blessings!
