I very much admire the work of Debby (A Scrapjourney). She makes the most amazing cards ~ her use of patterned papers, decoupage etc just amazes me. This card is inspired by her... but I can't do justice to her work...
I started by embossing my panel with a snowflake embossing folder. I then used a Martha Steward punch to make the edging. Some silver corners from Spellbinders. The stamp is a Tilda. I used some silver vellum to paper piece the dress. Coloured the rest with Copics and added some stickles. Added the sentiment. Not sure it's quite finished but not sure what it needs. Maybe a white flower or something.
Almost the end of the week........ yeah.... looking forward to the weekend...
Thanks for visiting...

Love the coloring on Tilda's hair Dawn! And the sparkly wings! Sometimes I just set the work aside for a few hours,or a day and when I get back to look at it I can see what's missing. And sometimes it's nothing!
Dawn, this is such a charming card! I love the way you framed that sweet image! I think it's perfect, just the way it is! :)
This is so so sweet Dawn. Love this image, your coloring and everything:)
Love the shine from all that silver! Beautiful! It inspires me to work with silver colors more often - especially embossing powder in that color!
OK- that's it! I must have some of this silver paper- it's going on my list! It's so pretty, Dawn- so festive :)
Beauty of an angel and I adore all the embossing on this!
How delightful! Loving the sweet little angel image, and the gorgeous way you framed this card in silver. I always call my cards done when others may add more so I think this is perfect as is....hugs!
