Catching up...

I haven't had much motivation to make cards this week.....plus a shortage of time.   This is a result of my doctor's checkup last Friday.  My blood sugars have been rising steadily  over the last 6 months and my doctor advised MORE EXERCISE and LESS CARBO's.  So as from the weekend, I've been walking for 30-40 mins each day.  So less time to craft and visit blogs etc... so forgive me if I don't comment as much as usual.   I really am trying to get my Diabetes under control.

I did however finish off a card I made from CAS card class.

CAS class Coloured flowers

I stamped Hero Arts Silhouette Corner in white ink onto the black card and when it finally dried.... coloured with Faber Castell Classic pencils.  I matted this onto pale green PP and then onto the card base.   The sentiment is an older Hero Arts one.   Of course, I couldn't not have some bling~ so used some pretty pale green pearls for the flower centres.

I'll be off line for a few day...as we are heading up to the Beach for a long weekend.  Monday is Auckland Anniversary Day and a public holiday.  It will be nice to have a break away as the weather forecast is for good weather.  Hopefully get some swimming in as well as just lazing around reading.   Will do a walk or two as well.

Take care
Dawn

Oh, Dawn! I hate to exercise, but love to craft. So, I make deals with myself - no crafting until after I exercise! It works - I will not cheat myself! Sure hope the walking does the trick. Love this classy card with black! Take care!
