Just before Christmas, I bought a set of La Blanche flower stamps. I liked them, then couldn't really decided how to use them. The two stamps are quite small so wondered what I could do with them. So I decided just to play.... stamping them on a variety of backgrounds and PP. I had shown my parents how to make water coloured backgrounds so had a few lying around.
I found this piece of water coloured paper and stamped the flowers with black ink. I then used colouring pencils and a water brush to colour in. I added some tiny butterflies cut with punch. The sentiment is from Stamp-it. I have been impressed by some designs Sally has been doing...so I used a similar idea. Leaving white space all around the panel. I added a dark blue ribbon to finish it off. So in the end I was pleased with how the stamping turned out.
Today I signed up for Clean and Simple card making class after seeing all the wonderful creations over on Flickr and on my bloggy friends blogs. So I've been trying to catch up with the day one and two videos. Love the first days sketches... so hopefully will get some time tomorrow to create.
Take care
