Cards for the Boys...

After a few days of pink and girly.... it was time to do some boy cards.   I had an order for a Male birthday card and as I had a need to have a few on hand...

You're a Classic

This one is a sketch I've used before.  Works well with the Graphic 45 papers.   The top part of the card is a Hero Arts background stamp inked in Aged Mahogany distress.  I used the computer to generate the sentiment.

Vintage birthday

This a direct copy of a card I saw in Paper Crafts.  I used mostly all the same papers and the buttons, just used a different sentiment and colour of card base.    Made a great vintage looking masculine card.

I did one other, but still have to take a photo.

Picked up my new dies today and yesterday my Simon Says Stamp parcel arrived.... the Tim Holtz new inks were in it, with the HA Lattice background stamp, a blue HA mid tone ink, and a couple of Tim Holtz stamps.  Taking them with me to Stamp Group so will get to have a great play this weekend.   Can't wait...

Great masculine cards, Dawn! I really like the first one! I don't do many of them so it's always a struggle for me. Just got those inks and the lattice stamp, too - haven't had time to play with them as yet.

Hi Dawn, Great masculine cards! I love both designs and think that the emobossing of the sentiment is a stroke of brillance! I think that the gold looks so manly!

Great cards Dawn - I particularly like the top one.
I too have had goodies arrive this week so am waiting to play this weekend - glad it's going to be wet, then I have no reason to be outside.
Blessings
