A little Grungy and a little girly.....

and PINK!  yet another pink card....

Teen Birthday- Girly and Grunge

I have a niece turning 16 at the end of the month and saw a card in Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercrafting and adapted it to fit my supplies.  The magazine used some rubber stamps from a company called Tickled Pink Stamps.  They are an Australian company and when I went on-line I found that some of their stamps are available as digital stamps.  So I purchased this one called "Lil Pinkette August"  I coloured her with Copics and cut it out. My background is a digital paper (not sure by whom) I printed it and used a distressing tool to distress the edges.  I did the same with the brighter pink piece of card.  That and the torn corrugated card are the grungy part of the card.   I rubbed some white Picket Fence distress stain over the corrugated card.  The lace is the girly part (together with all the pink!) as well as the ribbon.  I made the sentiment with pink stickers on some kraft card and also rubbed some of the stain over them.   Finished it off with some pink and white flowers (from some goodies that I won over at Clare's blog~ thank you)

And did you see, I have reached 100 followers.... so thank you all.... look out over the next little while as I will be having a give away.  Just need some time to gather some goodies together to celebrate this milestone.

As always, I do appreciate all my followers and those who regularly leave me comments.  I really appreciate you taking time to read my waffling.  Have a great week.

This is rockin', Dawn! So perfect for a teen - and your coloring is smashing. A perfect combo of girlie and distress (some teens do cause distress, right?). Love it. Also congrats on 100 of us. I enjoy visiting here.
