I'm Home!

and my suitcase was full of lots of stamping and crafting goodies..... thanks to my friend Paula ~ not only did she give me a lot of goodies when I went to visit her... but she also took me to visit her local stamp store ~ Daisychain where I found a few new stamps and some ribbons and flowers.... Thank you Paula for allowing me to spend the day with you....

Yes, I got to spend a day with Paula.  She lives in Nambour in Queensland, Australia and I was spending almost a week in Mooloolaba ~ about a 20 min drive away.  My hubby and friends dropped me off at about 10.30am and picked me up around 4.00pm...
Here is Paula with Miss Lils.. Last time I saw here she was only a few weeks old...now a very cute 2 year old.  Her big sister Emma was at school, so I missed seeing her...

and here is Paula and I
I had a great day, we seemed to find lots to talk about... not just crafting, although there was a lot of that discussed.  I learnt a few new things especially about using GIMP to help create digitally.  Paula very generously gave me some Christmas PP pads, a lovely branch die, some stamps and this beautiful canvas

I can tell you, in real life, it is more stunning looking.  Really beautiful.  I am so happy to have this.  Thanks heaps Paula.  I've got it on the wall in my craft room already.

I had a fabulous break away.  The weather was stunningly beautiful, warm and sunny everyday.  Our friends, had never been to the Sunshine Coast so we had fun showing them our favourite places... the markets at Eumundi,  Noosa  and of course the beautiful beach at Mooloolaba.  I even managed to get into the sea for a swim as well as lots of sunbathing!   5 days wasn't long enough though!  We drove through the Glass House Mountains on our way back to Brisbane where we stayed Thurs night before a very early morning flight back to Auckalnd.  I will share some photos later in the week.

Thanks for stopping by today...
