A pink and girly Christmas.....

that's what Michelle at work wanted in a special Christmas card for her daughter.  So I went straight to my favourite digital site to find the perfect image... yes another Mo's Digital Pencil image... and I found exactly what I wanted here.

Pink and Girly Christmas

I printed out Christmas Fairy Holly and coloured her with Copics in pink colours.  I added some Sakura Gel Pen to the bells on her dress and the snow globe.  I fussy cut the image.  I searched through my piles of paper to find some pink patterned paper and added to some really bright pink card ( looks a bit red here in my photo) I also cut a eyelet circle from the same card.  I cut a white circle and embossed with a snowflake folder.  I added some of the Sakura pen to some of the snowflakes.   I added a sentiment from Kaisercraft.   I added some white faux stitching around the pink circle.   When I took it into work this morning... Michelle was over the moon... she just loved it.  It's such a joy when you make something and the person is enthralled with it.   I admit I was very happy with the results of this one too.

Are you going to take in the 24 hr Scramble over at Hero Arts Flickr group this weekend?  There is going to a be a 90 mins scramble every two hours starting 6.30pm CDT Friday  ( that's 1.30pm Saturday afternoon for me)  so there'll be a time to suit everyone!  I'm hoping to do a few over the afternoon, evening and on Sunday morning.  Should be great fun.

Totally adorable card for a girly Christmas card, Dawn! Love that pretty paper you've used and all the layering is just beautiful.

Seems I'm never around when the scrambles start, but maybe I can find one at a time when I'm home this weekend....

Me again. I completely forgot about the 24hr scramble and by the time I saw your post it was all over. It has been a busy week looking after my husband as he recovers from an op, but he is doing well. It is ages since I did a scramble. I hope to take part in one again soon.
