Black, White and a Splash of Maroon

That's the latest challenge over at  The Play Date Cafe.

I've not play over here for a while, but love these colours.  Great for a Christmas card.   So I decided it was time to play

I used a Sizzix embossing folder and some Maroon card and ribbon.  I used a Stampin' Up! stamp and punch to cut my bird and the branch.  The "JOY" is part of a Hero Arts stamp.

I had a superb day yesterday stamping with my friends.  Sandie borrowed this embossing folder and produced a number of pretty birthday cards.   Lots of sharing stamps and bits and pieces.  Lots of laughter and talking and for me, 6 cards made.  Not bad for 6 hours crafting!
And the night out was fun... Amazing meal and great company.

Thanks for stopping by.

I'm jealous of your stamping group--you're lucky! LOVE this card which I'm pinning! I've admired your use of that folder before, so guess I better put it on my wishlist.
