Oh Christmas Tree Blog Hop

Welcome to the Oh Christmas Tree Blog Hop, brought to you by the design teams of Made Especially For You and Red Carpet Studio!

Today the design teams of Made Especially For You and Red Carpet Studio have teamed up to share with you all sorts of Christmas tree projects to help you get ready for the Christmas season!

If you're looking to start at the beginning of the hop, please visit Ashley's blog. If you've come from Eileen's blog, you're in the right place!

For today's hop, I made two CAS cards...

This first one is my Hot of The Press Christmas tree, white embossed onto watercolour paper and a wash done with watered down Faded Jeans distress ink ( thanks to some inspiration from my friend Glenda!)  I found a teeny tiny Christmas greeting on a freebie set of stamps from last year and felt it finished perfectly.  I made my background on the base card by stamping an Inkadinkado flourish with Tea Dye distress ink onto the cream card base.
The second card also uses the same stamp, this time embossed with Gold EP and this time my background was with a paint wash - in pearlescent creams and ivory colours.  Not to noticeable in my photo but quite stunning in real.

We have some wonderful sponsors giving away prizes to those who comment on every stop of the hop!

$15 Gift Certificate

$6 worth of digital stamps

Participants have through Sunday evening to hop. The winners of the blog candy will be announced on Made Especially For You on Tuesday December 18th. Please make sure to leave your contact information when commenting to be eligible to win!

Your next stop is Annelie's blog . Here's the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way:

Happy Hopping!

Wow Dawn these cards are beautiful. I so love this stamp. I don't any of these and now you have me curious about this brand. Thanks. I am sure my hubby will love that!!! Lol. Just kidding. Love the different look of each card. They are so elegant and charming. Thanks for sharing. I am gonna be in touch on the weekend. I am still doing my Christmas Cleaning. My in-laws come tomorrow, they are suppose to be here today but due to a snow storm they are delayed. Sad but at least it gives me a little time to get everything completed. Lol. So I will be try and connect with skype to get you added to my list of friends this weekend and we can chat when you are off work okay. Whatever works best for you. Okay gotta go. Hugs.
