Hi All.... I'm throwing my hat into the ring over at Tiddly Inks for their design call. I LOVE Tiddly Inks designs - their images are just the cutest ever.
For my sample today I used Fairy Sunny Day available HERE She is really adorable. I wanted to try out a watercolouring technique with Distress inks and the Tiddly Inks digital images are perfect for colouring.
I printed little Ms Fairy onto some Strathmore water colour paper and used a variety of distress inks to colour the her. I cut her with a Spellbinders Label and while the die was still in place, I added the blue background wash. I added some black Wink of Stella to the daisies and some clear Wink of Stella for her wings. I cut a second label and cut it in half and added to each end of the die cut to make the frame. I layered some PP onto my card base and added the ribbon. Once I had added the focal die cut, I added some daisies and a spray. The little circle sentiment is from Lili of the Valley. It fitted perfectly into a Spellbinders circle die which I sponged with the blue ink.
Here is also another Tiddly Inks card I made earlier this year
This one, I used Copics to colour up Wryn Somebunny Loves You found HERE,
then fussy cut and layered onto a Spellbinders circle. Background PP from a Rosie's Studio Japanica pack, die cut with a Lil Inker's die. Sentiment by Simon Says Stamp was white embossed onto black card.
Hope the team like my work.... You can see more of my Tiddly Inks cards HERE
