It's my turn to post at
A2Z Scrapbooking today and I here with a simple masking technique using some of those little stamps that are on many of the Hero Arts sets
I
started by using some Post-It tape to mask off a stripe on my card. I
then sponged with some Tumbled Glass distress ink to define the masked
area. I then stamped some of those little stamps in a variety of
distress colours. I used
Hero Arts set CL864
(currently Out of Stock at
a2z Scrapbooking, however you can CUSTOM
Order it in the Store. Just click on the REQUEST CUSTOM ORDER form on
the store HOME Page)
The
bigger flower was stamped, coloured with distress ink and Wink of
Stella and then fussy cut and used as a focal image. I finished with a
sentiment from an older set.

What a lovely card, Dawn! The mix of the teensy flowers with the larger one is sweet, and that's a favorite sentiment set of mine!
Very pretty Dawn, love the bright spring like colours!
Beautiful. I love the way you opened up the sentiment spot by masking it off and then popping the cut flower within the masked off portion to make it seem as if it was never masked at all. CLEVER!
Lovely
Perfect stamping--love this card, Dawn!
Fabulous Dawn - love your stamping and a great make overall.
