Recently I saw Yana Samkula do a video where she took one large sheet of card stock and stamped flowers as a background and then trimmed it into four panels. I CASE'd Yana's background but stamped it onto an A5 (half a large sheet) and cut it into two. I used Altenew stamps and inks and made two cards.
Here's the first one. I trimmed the panel and added to some dark grey base card . I stamped the large sentiment and added it to my base. I thought it looked a little stark so I diluted some Nuvo drops and splattered them over the entire card.
and onto number two:
I added my sentiment directly onto the card panel. I love the way the background shines through the open part of the sentiment. This time I backed the panel with black card stock. This time I just added the Nuvo drops as they are meant to be used.
