I stamped the Hero Arts Poinsettia several times and coloured it. I then cut it with the ScanNCut. I cut several more white die cuts and one out of dark green card so I could layer the sentiment when I laid it back in the negative space. I quite like the result, but think the background is just a touch too busy to see the sentiment that well.
The next card came about as I was about to throw out the negative space of one of the white layers. I looked at it and decided it was too good to throw away. So here's what I did
I die cut a stitched rectangle and added some patterned paper behind the opening. I added some Nuvo drops as embellishments.
So that's my first two Christmas cards started.
Thanks for stopping by.

WOW - fantastic cards - the second one is so pretty with the little red "berries" for accent!
Both cards are beauties. I'm glad you didn't throw out the Noel on that second card. What beauties for your first two Xmas cards.
Love both your cards Dawn but the second is my favourite, love the patterned paper peeping through your word.
Lovely cards Dawn! Great to start doing them early!!
These are lovely, Dawn! Great idea to use patterned paper behind the negative!
Great cards Dawn - love the way you used the negative die cut to create another card
Blessings

So gorgeous Dawn. Love them both! The top one is so clever the way the Noel is cut into the design. Tactile and intriguing, love it! Very elegant CAS finish to the second one. Gorgeous! Hugs, Wends xoxo
