Happy Birthday Dad.

 Today is my Dad's birthday.  86 years old and going strong.  

This was taken a couple of years ago 

For his birthday this year I made a shirt card.   I used Pinterest for some ideas and chose bits of two different techniques I found. 

I had this gorgeous plaid paper and cut it with some dies for the collar and used a Lawn Fawn stitched line to make the double stitching down the front.  I cut some tiny circles to add as buttons.   Not my usual style but a great masculine card. 

I had a great afternoon playing with my gel plate and some inks.... inky fingers and a few panels completed.  Hope you all had some crafty time this weekend.
