Our Hungry Little Caterpillar is turning One!

Our little grandson turns one today.  His birthday party theme is The Very Hungry Caterpillar -

My girl is a bit creative too....

                                                                    Birthday cake
Birthday Jumper

                                                               Caterpillar Bubbles.

So what's a Nanny to do for Finn's birthday card ???

Yes, a Caterpillar card.  I did a side step card and made my caterpillar from different green plain and patterned die cut circles.  His little red face has big googly eyes.  The apple is a Spellbinders heart die with a "bite" out of the side (using a scallop die) and a nice big foiled sentiment from Pretty Pink Posh.

We had a video call with the birthday boy this afternoon....not that he took much notice of us...apart from waving to us before heading off to play... And my son and Grace arrived while we were chatting to them.   So then next hour or so was spent playing in the craft room with Grace.... let's just say there was fine glitter all over the place.   Lots of "magic" painting with Watercolour powders and some ink blending...a bit of a clean up required when she left.

The next birthday is in 8 days, with Florence turning one on the 1st of July.

Wow - Finn is one already - just seems like the other week you went to Aus to celebrate his birth! Fabullus card Dawn, and I do love the apple you created!
I am sure Grace had a ball, even if it did mean Nanny had glitter for miles and some cleaning to do afterwards :)
