Sending caring thoughts your way at Die Cut Divas

Poppystamps is our September sponsor, the challenge prize is $20 gift card to their store.

The challenge this month is "Sympathy".  Our immediate thoughts run to the loss of a loved one, human or pet, but can extend further.  You can be sympathetic over a runaway pet or a person getting a cold, surgery or even having to take a tough exam.

Here is the card I made -

I have used Poppystamps Grosgrain Ribbon and Grosgrain Bow dies and added across my card panel that has been ink blended with some Altenew Pink Pearl.  I used some Fabriano white (it's more of an off white) card for the panel (160gms) and made my base from heavy (240gms) card.  I then used Poppystamps Floral Cluster - cutting the branches and leaves die from green card which I ink blended with some Altenew Hunter Green to deepen the colour.   There are some separate flower dies in the set so I took a piece of card that Grace had made when she came to visit a couple of weeks ago.  She had used some Lindy's Gang sprays and some Distress Spritz.  I layered the smaller flowers onto the bigger ones and added a little yellow gem centre.    Sentiment from an older Hero Arts set - With Sympathy stamped in Altenew Cloudy Night grey ink.
