Spring flowers at Die Cut Divas.

I'm a little late posting for today's last day of the month challenge at Die Cut Divas.

Our challenge this month is sponsored by Sheepski Designs - Wet or Dry Embossing

I have used both dry and wet embossing on my card.  The floral panel is using SheepSki Design Mini vases.  I die cut with a Spellbinders Rectangle die and added some ink blending with it still in the die.  I used some pearlescent paints to add colour.  I stamped the sentiment with Onyx Versafine ink and clear embossed it.   The background was dry embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, before adding the floral panel.

The spring flowers are fully in bloom in our garden now.  So timely to make a spring card to share.

Spring Daffodils at Die Cut Divas

Today I'm here to share a card for the Die Cut Divas challenge.

This month's sponsor is SheepSki Designs. Our random winner from eligible August entries can chose 3 images from SheepSki!

For our August Challenge we're doing embossing - wet or dry; I chose to do dry.

I've used a delightful Spring image (Jo's Daffodils) for my card, with a dry embossed background

Used some Momento Toffee Crunch to add colour to the Tim Holtz Alterations folder before running it through my machine.  Love the grungy look with the elegance of the focal image.   I printed and then used a variety of alcohol markers to add the colour.  Die cut with Spellbinders Nestibilites - Petite Ovals and Petite Scalloped Ovals.  The sentiment from Couture Creations was die cut and then stamped with Altenew Honey Drizzle ink.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sending Hugs for You - Die Cut Divas.

It's the last day of the June (where has the time gone!)  and it's time to share my card for Die Cut Divas. Our theme this month is "Critters" and we are sponsored by SheepSki Designs

My card today uses an image called "For You" - a sweet little elephant.

My inspiration for this one came from my team mate Linda - who sent me a card using this delightful image.   I love her colouring and design so pretty much copied it... I used a variety of different alcohol markers.   I cut the image with a Gina K Master Layouts and then after trimming my background PP used the largest Lil' Inker stitch rectangle die.  It doesn't cut out the panel, just adds the stitched lines.  I just got the Simon Hurley/Spellbinders Must-have sentiments hot foil stamp and die set so did some foiling and die cutting and made a few - chose to use the black foiled Sending Hugs sentiment.
