It's April!

Can you believe it's April already!  Where is the year going?
So 1st of the month means some new challenges underway.  Two of the teams I am involved have their monthly challenges starting.

Over at Die Cut Divas, we are have a Birthday Challenge.  The team got to work with some images from Fabrika Fantasy.

I chose to use a pre-coloured image and then enhanced it will Prismacolour pencils

A great way to get a card made quickly.

And over at Chalk'n'Stock we have our usual "Anything Goes".  As usual, chalk needs to be used on your project.   We are sponsored by Bugaboo and I used a sweet Easter image

My background was made with a stencil and versamark and then I used chalks to colour it up.  I made the sentiment on my computer.

We finished Daylight Saving over night... which means winter on it's way!  However with a temperature of 25C degrees (77 F.)and very humid.    I spent some time indoors creating... but that's for another day!

Thanks for stopping by.

More "Stenciled" action

I have another card I created CASEing a card from Debby Hughes on Day 3 of class

Day 3 Stenciled Class

I started by spritzing some Perfect Pearls mist in Heirloom Gold and a pinky colour I had made myself.  Once it dried I used used some Wendy Vecchi Embossing paste over a Mr Huey Chevron mask, just down one side.  I then worked on the flower embellishment.  It is a digi from Bugaboo.  I printed it out twice and used some chalk inks to paint the flowers.  I then layered the flower centres with some dimensional tape.  I then used some pearlescent paper and cut two leaves pieces using a Sizzix die.  Added all the elements to the card together with the sentiment which is Simon Says Stamp  and was white embossed onto black card.  I added some pink and white pearls to finish.

I also made a lovely felt flower tonight.  One of my FB friends saw a die set I posted last year and asked me about it and then another one want to know what size it was... so I made it up to show Anita and Lilian

That's it for me tonight.  Time to head to bed

A New Challenge and a Design team position for me....

Yes.... I've joined another Design Team.... Chalk n Stock  Tammylee, one of the co-founders asked me if I was interested in joining the team and of course I said YES!!!  And the challenge for me is to use Chalk on my projects!!!  I have a little box of chalks, purchased about 5 years ago, which haven't seen the light of day for a very long time.....

So here is my first inspiration card,

The design team got to work with Bugaboo digi's ( they are the sponsor for the June's Anything Goes challenge)  I chose this adorable little elephant with present.  I used chalk - yellow and green- for my background. The rest of the image is coloured with Inktense pencils.   Added some Glossy Accents to the balloons and the chickie's beak.  Finished with part of a Hero Arts sentiment stamp which I stamped in black ink and clear embossed.

I'm really pleased to join the team and play with my chalks and chalk inks.   Do pull out your chalks and join me over at Chalk n Stock
