Hero Arts have gone small..... ATC's. What are they you ask? ATC stands for Artist Trading Card. These little beauties measure 2.5″ x 3.5″ or 6cm x 9 cm. The purpose of ATC’s are to trade with other artists. They are really great to collect and display. Hopefully I will be able to join the HA ATC trading ... if I am in time. I haven't made many ATC's before but as I adore butterflies, of course my ATC's will be based around different butterflies.
In this one, I used yellow cardstock that I distressed with Walnut Stain and used HA Old French writing in the Walnut Stain Ink. I then used a Stamp-it butterfly again stamped in the walnut stain ink. I then stamped a second large butterfly and cut and layered on the original stamp. Some tiny pearls finished the ATC. Unfortunately my photo is not the clearest. Not sure what the problem is as everything seemed okay on the camera. Maybe too late at night ( 10.13pm) so I'm a bit tired.
Tonight I also managed to make some alcohol inked backgrounds. I am going to send them to a lady I meet in Cairns who also makes cards but had not heard of Alcohol inks. I did some purples and some greens and some orangey ones. I also did a lovely distress one with Spiced Marmalade, Walnut Stain and Shabby Shutters which I then spritzed with water, Really pleased with the outcome of that one.
Well thanks for stopping by.
