Gold and Silver Christmas cards.....

I still need a few more Christmas cards and have just picked up the latest copy ( or at least the latest here in NZ) of Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.  It is the Nov 2010 issue and in it was a lovely card by Karen Watson that used Krylon webbing and silver ink.  I decided to CASE the card using what I had to hand... namely a crackle stamp that looks a bit like the webbing, and using some Hero Arts and Papermania snowflake stamps.  This is what I came up with....
I wasn't entirely happy with the snowflake.  Realised I should have embossed both the crackle and the snowflake.  So embossed the snowflake and replaced the panel

Silver and white Christmas  WMC35

Much better!!!!!  in fact I so liked the design, I decided to do it again, this time in gold and white.
Gold Christmas  ( wmc#35)

I embossed both the crackle and the snowflake on this one and was much more pleased with the results.

As both used a Hero Arts stamp, I have entered into the challenge for December - under the shine part, and as it was a CASEd card, both have been entered into the Wee Memories challenge this week and I have also entered both into the Caardvarks final challenge as they are monochromatic.

One last little tidbit.... one of the guys I work with, Mike, created this little ditty of the 4 of us who work together..... it's a bit of a laugh.  See if you can recognise me
Elf yourself

Take care all.... While many of you are suffering the cold weather.... I am SWELTERING in very humid conditions.... so stuffy here tonight.

Thanks for the concepts you have provided here. On top of that, I believe there are some factors which will keep your car insurance premium decrease. One is, to think about buying vehicles that are within the good listing of car insurance corporations. Cars that are expensive tend to be at risk of being lost. Aside from that insurance is also in accordance with the value of your car, so the more costly it is, then higher the premium you have to pay. Real estate foreclosures can have a Six to few years negative effect on a client's credit report. A borrower who has applied for home financing or any kind of loans as an example, knows that the actual worse credit rating can be, the more tough it is to acquire a decent mortgage loan. In addition, it can affect any borrower's power to find a quality place to lease or rent, if that gets to be the alternative homes solution. Thanks for your blog post. You know, lots of people are hunting around for this info, you can aid them greatly. Thanks for the strategies presented. One thing I also believe is always that credit cards supplying a 0% rate often lure consumers in with zero interest rate, instant approval and easy online balance transfers, nevertheless beware of the real factor that can void your 0% easy streets annual percentage rate plus throw anybody out into the very poor house fast.
