Once I'd stamped the flowers I coloured them with distress inks. I was then at a loss as how to make it into a card so went to Penny Circle Flickr group (here) and saw this lovely card by Lana. I CASE'd her card... using the design, changing the colours around and using the page of an old book which I distressed.
I have entered this into two Penny Black challenges.... Penny Black blog ~ Distressing and Penny Black at Allsorts ~ Flowers
I also gave this card together with some yellow daisies to my son's boss and his wife for putting on dinner last night to celebrate his completing his apprenticeship. We had a lovely night. Here is my boy celebrating
Now a fully qualified builder. And here's the card I made for him....
Hope you are all having a great weekend. I got all the house work done this morning and got to spend a few hours in the craft room.
Cheers
Dawn
