I'm Home.... and My Graphico Feature

I am finally home.... my back surgery ( Fusion of two vertebrae in my lower back) went well on Thurs.... but due to good old constipation.... I didn't get home till this morning (Tues)
Am still in a heap of pain and feeling extremely tired... apparently GA does that.  Surgery took nearly 3 hours and they had to go through the back as opposed to the side as they had hoped.  Still all in all, coping well.  And so pleased to be in my own environment.

So onto Monday's Feature at My Graphico.  This week is all about brides... with this wonderful set being highlighted

Aren't they just lovely.... I had so much trouble deciding what image to work with ~ but finally came up with this.

My Grafico - Brides
I printed the Bride onto some textured card and then used an EzCut Embossing plate Trimmed and matted onto mirror card.  Used a strip of PP ( Rosie's Studio) and tied some organza ribbon around it.  Congratulations stamp from Hero Arts.  Added some gems and Stickles to finish.

and here is a close up of the Embossing plate

Thanks for stopping by... and a super big thanks to all of you who have added comments on the Flickr Hero Art group and my Facebook page.  It felt so special to come home to know so many of you have been thinking of me.   Hopefully I can get some more sitting time to catch up on all your beautiful work and blogs...

Cheers

Dawn
