Yes, it's Simply Scrapping Crafts challenge day.... this week we have a sketch.
Our sponsor this month is E.A.D. Designs. They make vinyl lettering, wall art, stickers and rubons. This months winner will have a voucher to the value of $35 to spend. I tell you, you'll have fun choosing goodies from their store!
So onto my sample
I used Christmas Penguins for this card. I also used lots of CB embossing folders, a resist technique, some masking. My penguin sticker went on a circle cut with a spellbinders circle that I sat on a circle die (Parisian Accents) to give the idea of a snowflake. The blue panel was created by using Holographic EP with some Inkadinkado snowflake flourishes and then did the resist with Broken China distress ink. I used a little circle of this to cover the centre of the stamped sentiment from Hero Arts. I masked the penguin in the centre to start but a little of him showed, hence the resist bit there. Both the card base and the snowflake embossed panel where distressed with the Broken China as well
Please come and join us over at SSC ~ see the other DT samples and our guest designer, Karin. You can enter any of the months challenges right up to the end of the month...
Would love to see you there.
Take Care

Fabulous sketch design. You always have a wonderful mix of techniques throughout your cards. Gorgeous dry embossing and heat embossing paired with the great die-cut.
