It's been a very busy week.... no so much at work, but at home... Last night was our Annual Neighbourhood Barbeque. It was so much fun... the weather was nice ~ it's finally stopped raining....and the summer has arrived. We had a good turn out... it's so nice to see the children and how much they have grown during the year and everyone gets the opportunity to catch up. So with that, I didn't get much chance to do much crafting but I still have one more Tim's Tags to share....
This is Day 4's tag... I made my background like Tim did, with some white and blue distress stains on my craft mat. I loved the way it came out... I then used some white stain to stamp a flourish, which fades beautifully into the background. I used Weathered Wood distress ink to stamp some Hero Arts snowflakes. My snowman was made with a template. I tried to use some crackle accents, but it didn't work properly. So I added some Rock Candy Stickles and a sponging of Weathered Wood. I added the numbers with some Glossy Accents, buttons with tulle and ribbon and a Tim Holtz circle embellishment. The silver snowflake is covered with Silver stickles. I am pleased how this turned out. I've started Day 6's tag... I didn't really like Tim's tag, so have changed it a bit... but still working on it... Hopefully after our few days away after Christmas, I'll get them finished. We are heading up to Mangawhai Beach for a couple of days ~ heading up after lunch on Christmas Day.
I'm entering this into Simon Says Stamp and Show. "inspired by Tim's Tags"
Hope all your plans are under way and ready for Christmas...
Take Care
