Sunday here in Auckland is wet, wet, wet.... so we've been inside all day. I made the most of the damp weather to get some more of Tim's Tags done. I got three done but only have two photographed as one is a bit damp ~ glitter and more glitter on Day 4's tag.
So here is Day 3's tag...
I didn't follow Tim's tag as closely this time... took some inspiration from a tag by StamperSuzz ~ here ~ I used some PP which had Christmas words. I stuck it to my manilla tag and then ran it through the CB with a Holly folder. I added the black fence die and the crimson bird die ( both Tim Holtz) some little handmade flowers and twine with some punched leaves. I used some black netting for my ribbon and a recycled red bell ( from a present my hubby received from work) So far this is my favourite tag I've made.
Day 5's tag....
Tim's tag was made with acetate, alcohol inks and a reverse impressions stamp. I made a few changes.... I used some Glossy card and used Alcohol inks. I then took some Hero Arts stamps from a Sparkle Clear set, and white embossed them. The wreath was made with a two punched wreaths from a Martha Stewart punch ( borrowed from Betty last weekend). Added some pearls and a seam binding ribbon. Added some tulle to the top. A quick and simple tag.
I am pleased to be blogging tonight as for most of the day, I've had NO BLOG, NO GMAIL... and no idea why they disappeared. Couldn't get mail, couldn't even make comments on my blog friends. I tried everything I could, send messages to Google... finally logged out of Google and back in again, and re verified my account....hey presto I was BACK.... thank goodness....
Hoping the weather improves before Christmas. Have a great week. I've got the day off tomorrow to get my hair done, and then three more days at work before having a week and a half off. Looking forward to the break.
Cheers
Dawn
