I stamped the Poppy onto each of the PP and also onto some silvery shimmer card. As it has the embossing, I had to make sure I heat set my ink so it wouldn't wipe off when I picked it up. I know this by trial and error...(thank goodness the stamp was able to be stamped twice on one sheet) I then cut out the flowers from each sheet and layered. I then matted the silver panel onto some of the pink PP and then onto another silver card. I really love the soft colours together. The card took me about 45 minutes to do and get my photo taken and uploaded. So I thought I'd see if I could make another card... Again, I decided on paper piecing a flower and due to time constraints... a CAS card.
I used the same silver card for the main part. I started by stamping the Hero Arts Frame on the card and then centring the rose within it. I then stamped the rose onto some PP I had in my scrap box. I think it was some I'd downloaded and printed onto some cream paper. I cut out and layered the flower heads. I coloured the stems and leaves with a Tombow marker. I then layered it onto a black card base and added some red gems.
While I was doing all this, my Dad was cooking up whitebait fritters for breakfast. They don't get whitebait in Australia so enjoyed some today before they headed home. We took them out to the airport ~ and by now, they should be almost home. The last 3 weeks have simply flown by.
Wishing you all a great week... back tomorrow with a Mygrafico challenge

Your patterned paper flowers are all so pretty, Dawn! Wonderful paper piecing! :)
That's so nice that your parents visited for 3 weeks! Do they live close to your daughter? I love your stamping on patterned paper. My favorite is the second card, I really like the choice of pp you used!
Oh they're both gorgeous Dawn.
