My first card used a Shadow Block stamp ( the technique that was demonstrated at group today) I used HA Pool ink to stamp then over stamped with the Etched Flowers and the Wet Cement ink. I was pleased with the subtle inking rather than the starkness of black ink. I matted the panel with dark brown and then onto a teal Bazzil base. Love the texture of Bazzil.
and here's the second
Quite a different look. This is a very CAS card. I stamped the Etched Flowers and the sentiment with Versamark and embossed with Gold powder. I trimmed and then matted onto gold mirror card and then onto a black base. I painted the flowers with a mixture of iridescence medium to give it some shine. This card was inspired by a dress I saw a woman wearing when we were out to dinner last night. It was a black dress with a large single gold rose. Isn't amazing what can inspire you.
That's it for me for now... It has been a long day ~ stamping from 10.00 am till 6.30 pm. Enjoyable though. Caught up with some friends... including Sue. Boy you must visit her blog over the next few days... as she was working on some samples for her DT work over at OCC and I can tell you..... they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Take care

Sounds like you had a busy but fun day, Dawn! Both of your cards are gorgeous and I love the way you've used the same stamp and made it look so different on each card!
Both cards look wonderful. It is amazing how a stamp used in a different way can create such a different style card.
Fabulous cards with your new stamp Dawn, this etched flower is fast becoming a fav of mine. It looks really great embossed in gold!!
Sounds like a great day indeed! Love your two cards and what you've done with your new stamp!
Gosh, I wish there was a stamp group where I live, sounds like lots of fun. Both very different cards but both lovely Dawn :)
Dawn these are both brilliant cards - both elegant, and both so totally different - love how you have already shown your new stamp to be very versatile.
