More Pink and Girly.

Another pink and girly card, this time for a birthday.  Today I am home sick.... feeling rather queasy, so between racing to the bathroom and doing some blog hopping, I've managed a very simple little girly card.  No stamps involved in this one at all...........

Hedgehog Birthday

My focal image is a Penny Black Stickaroo. (from this set)  Already coloured and ready to stick on your card.  It is really sweet.  I popped it onto white card and then used a Spellbinders die to cut out.  I distressed the edges while it was still in the die.  The outer scallop circle is from a Nellie Snellen die.    I was CASEing Jenny's card over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  So I used the easel card base, the pink colouring and the fancy corners like Jenny did.  I used a couple of Martha Stewart punches ~ on the corners, along the patterned vellum and the dark pink inside stopper piece.  The fine pink ribbon was sitting on my desk so got popped on.   The two sentiments are both stickers. One Penny Black and one EAD Designs.

Also entered into Simon Says Stamping ~ Birthday challenge.... it's their 3rd Birthday... Happy Birthday SSS!
Plus over at Crafter's Cafe ~ it takes two.... I've added two buttons on the base of the card.

I also managed to finish off my ATC's to sent to Karen in Canada for the Hero Arts Flickr group swap.  I've done 4 designs of 2 each.  They need to be with Karen by the end of June so sometime in July I will have 8 ATC's from other people in my hot little hands.... and at that point will share what I've made.  I keep forgetting what fun ATC's are to make.

Well I have to fly off again.... yuck ~ hate feeling so sick to the stomach like this...
take care
Dawn

What a sweet card, Dawn! I love everything about it!

I signed up for the ATC swap also - hope I get one of yours. Haven't even started on mine yet; glad we have a decent amount of time to work on them.

Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments. It is truly appreciated.

I hope you are feeling better Dawn.

This is a stunning card. I love it in so many ways. I love the pink and the way you have made it an easel card - something I am yet to try. I love all the dies and punches you have used. A cute Penny Black stickeroo too. They are so great to use.

It is great to have you join The Crafter's Cafe. Thanks for taking part in one of the challenges. A perfect entry for the "it takes two" challenge.
