Since Lily Pad cards closed, the CCC (Card Chain Challenge) reverted back to Deborah's blog. Deborah challenged us to use a sketch or a colour challenge or a theme.
Theme: Independence Day, Cook-out or Friends.
My card went to Arlene in California. I used the sketch for my design. The ribbon was sent to me by Cathy A. It is a sheer ribbon, so layered it onto some red card. The butterfly is a Marianne die. I added some Sukura glitter pen on the body. Sentiment is by Hero Arts. This card was entered into Lawnscaping Splash of Colour challenge.
And here is the amazing card that Karen in Canada sent to me...

I've just had a lovely evening with my friend Yvonne. She came round and her and I had dinner. Her Hubby is currently in Poland, getting ready to present a paper at a Conference on Friday, and my hubby was out at a business dinner... We had a good catch up and watched a new TV programme called "The Block" ~ a reality programme where 4 couples have to renovate 4 run down houses. It is set very near where I work and all the places the teams had to visit this week, are ones that we know. I actually drove past the houses today.... they have come a long way from what is shown on TV tonight.
Have a great week...
