A little Scrapling

After making the panel yesterday with Gelatos, I tried one where I stamped with them and no water.  It made a very bright and sharp panel.  I then spritzed it with water to clean it... and noticed it still had lots of colour still on it... so I quickly stamped it to some card stock.  It made a very pretty watercoloured looking panel.  I also got two baby wipes full of colour that I've dried to make a fluffy flower.  Finally got the stamp clean.

Today I took some of the panel and a piece of scrap card 3 1/4" x 5 1/8" and made a little scrapling

You're Special Scrapling

I used some of the Summer Distress ink ~ Mowed Grass~ to distress the edges of the panel and make the mat.    I also used the distress ink to colour the flower centre.  The base card is a dark purple so used a purple flower gem for the centre.  The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set as well.   It is interesting how the same stamp and gelatos made such different effects.

Thanks for stopping by.  See you tomorrow for Monday's Mygrafico post.

Hello Dawn
Love this water-colour effect, it is muted and soft now and not so cool, your Green is warmer, and adding the flower, adds femininity.
