Jar of Hearts

I've just got a few minutes before we head round to friends for dinner... I have just been visiting Paula's blog ( here) where she share a card she made with a stamp I gave her... and I realised I hadn't shared the card I made with the gorgeous Mason Jar stamp she gave me!  This card was entered into a couple of challenges.....

Jar of Hearts

firstly Moxie Fab World's "Jar of Joy" challenge and Simon Says Stamping "Trendy challenge"

I stamped the jar and added the tiny fussy cut hearts stamped onto the same colour card as I used to make the chevrons ( die cut with a Hero Arts Framelit set)   It's hard to see, but I added 3 lines of embossing along the top to balance out the card.

Looking forward to my day at a Stampin' Up workshop tomorrow.  I've never done one so thought I'd try it out.  I have a few of their stamps ~ not many as I find they are quite expensive.

Hope your weekend is going as good as mine.  Thanks for stopping by,
Dawn

What a lovely cheerful card Dawn.
I have some some stamping up workshops, and enjoyed them, but like you find their prices a bit above my budget!!

LOVE your idea of putting hearts into a jar, Dawn - I may use it for Valentine's cards this year, if you don't mind?
