I clear embossed the butterflies onto the black card stock . I don't have many colours in Perfect Pearls but do have some Pearl Ex powders. These are very similar to Perfect Pearls except they need some sort of setting agent. I mixed them with water and coloured the butterflies then set them with hairspray. Once it was dry I die cut them with the matching die. I used a white gel pen to add some dots to the butterflies and do some faux stitching on the card. The sentiment was white embossed. I couldn't find my Embossing buddy and the white powder ended up everywhere. And it was raining so I couldn't get a decent photo. But I did have fun doing the challenge... and to top it all off, I won one of Chris's prizes... wasn't that cool.
I've been watching a new program on TV... Revolution. It started yesterday and was on again tonight. Looks like it will be good.
Can't wait for the weekend.. It's a long one for us with Monday being Labour Day. Hubby and I are heading up to the beach.. just the two of us this time, so no TV, no internet, nothing to do but read and rest. I might take some colouring up with me, but am having a weekend off.

Lovely card, Dawn! PearlEx has been around forever and there are so many pretty colors. Your butterflies look great in these. I like the white pen accents, too!

Lovely card Dawn. Wonderful butterflies. They really stand out against the black background.
