Bugaboo Digi Stamps have some of the cutest images. This month they are sponsoring two of the teams I'm involved with. Both Die Cut Divas and Chalk'n'Stock are sponsored by them. Today's card covers both blogs.
I printed out the penguin at a fair large size, coloured with Copics and fussy cut him. The design for my card is similar to one that we used in the Holiday Card Workshop. I used my embossing folder on the top and bottom of the card. I then sponged over some chalk ink. I used a greeny blue colour ink. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Holiday Borders set.
I'm entering this into the challenge at Digi Haven who are also sponsored by Bugaboo.
I really enjoying working with Bugaboo images... there really is something for everyone and for all of December their images are 50% off

Dawn this is amazing - love the way you have used the image and also set him up on the card - using the embossing folder just on the edges is inspired :-). As is the way you have used the chalk ink.

Great idea to emboss top and bottom of the paper. Looks very wintery with your choice of shading colors.
Great card Dawn, I love the way you have this little guy skating off the page! Jo x
Love this cute card & how you have the embossed snowflakes top & bottom! He's feel right at home here--winter wonderland & it's not even Christmas yet! Probably will just be raining by then--LOL
Super-great design, Dawn! Love how you used the texture on just the edges....and that sweet sentiment is a great balance with the happy guy. A real fun card.
Oh, what a fun card! I love how you popped up your penguin, and your chalking is beautiful!
