The class continues and I am way behind in both watching the videos and practising all the techniques. I want to try them all. So I've done some of the techniques for Days 1,2 and 3. I have four cards to share today so be warned...long post!
First from Day 1 - an embossed resist card
Used a Hero Art background and white embossed it. Used the watercolour paints to wash the background. Finished with a Britannia die and a Hero Arts sentiment that was embossed onto vellum.
Next from Day 2 - another embossed resist
I tried the technique of ironing off the embossing, but don't think I got it quite right. Hero Arts background with the Winnie & Walter sentiment.
Another from Day 2 - using Masking Liquid
I used all Penny Black stamps for this one. I stamped the flower and then painted some Liquid masking fluid onto it. Once it dried, I did a wash of watercolour paint. I went with some subtle muted colours. Think I'll do this again with some more vibrant colours to see what the difference is. I have entered this into the challenge at Penny Black and More~ Anything goes
And finally from Day 3 - watercolour flowers.
CASEing the card done by Jennifer Rzasa. Used the same design and stamps but different inks, die cut and sentiment. Using Wplus9 Fresh Florals, distress inks plus Memento for the leaves. Finished with a Winnie & Walter sentiment. (These two sets are really fast becoming "go to" sets for sentiments) This one is going into the Spring Flowers Challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge
Thanks for taking the time to visit me today. I really appreciated all who visit and especially those who leave me comments.

Fabulous work Dawn - Love them all, and each one has it's own special appeal. Did you get the liquid masking fluid from an art store?
I have seen heaps of people showing samples from this class, and yours are 'right up there'.

Hello Dawn,
Well I think these are great looking cards to display watercolours with embossing, I also do not have any luck with the iron to remove embossing, I seem to never get the temperature right, too hot or too cold!
Smiles:)
