Disappearing Nine Patch Christmas Card

Recently my friend Greta sent me a gorgeous Christmas card using a Disappearing Nine Patch card - a technique I had seen over at Splitcoaststampers  (here).  Greta's card is stunning

It inspired me to give the technique a go... I was inspired by her deer so decided to add one to my card.

I made my squares a little smaller than what Greta used.  I had picked up a paper pack from KMart the other weekend and it had some really cute papers.  My sweet little deer was fussy cut from one of the pages.  The sentiment was also from one of the pages.    I used an embossing folder like Greta.  So thanks Greta for the inspiration. I was happy with the design I made with my different papers.  I made a few cards using this paper pack.

Had my first day back in the office today after 111 days  of staying home!  Not too many turned up today... we are slowly coming back in.  Felt a bit weird but good to talk to other people face to face.

What a fun pack of papers Dawn, and I love the card - I must go and look at that technique - you have inspired me. I can well imagine it is a bit surreal to be with others in the office after such a long period
Stay safe
