Well I'm finally back to share a card. It's been a hard week. My Gastro lasted till Wednesday... and I've been feeling a bit washed out since. I did manage to get my technique challenge card for my local swap group. Val set the challenge - a Mini Miura fold card.... I'd never heard of this fun fold, luckily Val gave us a link to a You Tube video by Sam Calcott (here)
and here is my card
I chose some gorgeous patterned paper which I used to make my focal images. I added a sentiment to the middle portion of the card. It was hard to get a good photo of all the folds and angles.
I did enjoy this and also managed another card made over the weekend... for the September CCC - so won't be able to share until next month. My card is on it's way to the US. And I did have a play with my hotfoil machine yesterday and two Altenew hotfoil plates.... the Exquisite Marble plate and the flowers from the Linear Lines - Tropical Garden flowers. And now a few background marble panels and a pile of foiled flowers to use.
Thanks for stopping by.
