Hi there.... back to share two cards I made for the latest Let's Squash It challenge. I have SOOOO MANY embossing folders so always enjoy taking part in this challenge. And as I still building up my Christmas card supply - just the perfect challenge.
First card
A while back I picked up a stamp and die set from my local stationary store. It was un-named so I have no idea who made it. Possibly a magazine freebie set. Anyhoo, I had it sitting on my desk so decided to give a spin. I had a watercolour panel sitting there too... It was a piece that Grace had put some paint on and which I covered with some blue ink. You can just see the metallic paints she had used. I had also liberally spritzed with Shimmer spray. I took the die and cut it out before black stamping and clear embossing the silhouette. I die cut a silver topper and a little bow and trimmed a thin bit of silver for the thread. The sentiment was hot foiled on to dark blue card with silver foil - from a Spellbinders set. For my embossed background, I used Holiday Tapestry by Gina K.

These ornament cards are beautiful Dawn. Love how different they both are. Love how you used th back of the EF for the background on the first. A whole new dimension and interest.
