Yes.... first Christmas card for 2023. Christmas Kickstart challenge called for Stenciling or Masking. I had a little bit of time this afternoon - had to go inside as the sun was shining and the heat was up there.
I used two stencils for this one. I started by using a wreath stencil from Creativ8 - used a light green Altenew ink, shifted the stencil a little and did it in a darker green and then shifted again and used the dark green again but a little heavier handed. I then used a dark red and a gold gel pen to add some berries. I then used a stencil from Faith Pocock Studios with some Altenew Silverstone ink. The sentiment is from a freebie magazine set of dies - cut from red cardstock. Linked to
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a good crafty weekend.

A great start for next year, Dawn - your wreath is so delicate, love it!
A great card Dawn - love that background stencil - the pattern is fascinating. The repeated stencilling of the wreath gives it wonderful depth

Beautiful card, Dawn - lovely colours and mix of stencils. It's odd making Christmas cards in boiling heat isn't it. For some reason I expect it to cool me down, but it never happens! Thanks for playing at Christmas Kickstart, Jo x
Such a pretty wreath! Love how you can use few inks & just very how dark you make them!
