Pink butterfly

A couple of weeks ago I received a little parcel from the UK.  It left there in October and finally made it her nearly 6 months later!  It was an embossing folder I had won on the Let's Squash It challenge before it closed.

So here is my first card using the folder

I die cut a white panel.  I embossed the butterfly  and then using some soft Altenew inks and ink blended the butterfly and the background.   Added some splats of white ink spray.  The greeting is one I had stamped ages ago from a Woodware set. A very CAS card but looks so effective.

I'm adding this to Darnell's NBUS challenge - first time used the folder

I've been working on design work over the weekend with some new products.  Two orders arrived, and two more to come!  Now to find time to play!

What an exquisite card Dawn - love the embossed butterfly, and the way you have coloured it is stunning. The simple greeting was all that was needed.

Oooh, it's like Christmas at your house, Dawn! It's always fun and a kick to the MOJO when new schtuff arrives! (And isn't unwrapping things such a great part of the fun?!) You have given your e/f gift the attention it deserves after being held captive somewhere for six months! It's a beautiful card! Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
