August Card Chain Challenge reveal.

I'm a bit late doing my reveal post as I've been suffering badly from a bout of gastro.  Been really sick since Thursday night.... the whole hog.. vomiting and diarrhoea - and having stomach cramps since... still not well, but it's time to share the card I send to Gail in Norway.

This month our options were

Theme Options: Legs/Fruit and flowers/Friendship
Product/Technique: Acetate /Aperture.

For my card I chose to use an aperture

a

I used some textured card for my panel and used the Leaf frame die to cut out my window.  I made a gold frame for around it.  Added a die cut sentiment with a white embossed sub sentiment.

It's Father's Day here in NZ today, so I had a great chat with my Dad.  I had sent his card on Monday, but it hasn't arrived yet.

April Card Chain Challenge Reveal.

It's time to reveal the card I sent to Elle in Illinois USA as part of the CCC for April.   You can see all the cards HERE

I chose to use Spring for my theme - with this Spring Wreath.  I used the stencils from Pinkfresh Daisy Fresh Hot Foil set and die cut it out.  Coloured with Altenew inks.  I used a foiled sentiment from Pinkfresh Perfect sentiments hotfoil.  Love this one as it makes a variety of sentiments all at once.

You can still sign up for May's CCC on the blog here  -it's such fun to make and get a card as well.

August CCC for Jeanne

I heard from Jeanne today letting me know the card I made her as part of the August Card Chain Challenge had arrived.

Each month there are a variety of thing you can do as part of the challenge...

Theme Options: Water / Balloons / Friendship

Product / Technique Options: Foil / Twine

I decided that I want to use all four options..

1) Used the sketch
2) Used the colour palette
3) Used the theme options: Friendship and Balloons
4) Used the Products option: Twine

The die cut edging is from Spellbinders and the die cut balloons are an Elizabeth Crafts Design die. Incorporated the colours in the balloons, bow and little heart.  Used the twine for the balloon strings and finished with a Friendship sentiment.

It's always fun to take part in the Card Chain Challenge.  You can find out all about it HERE and there is still time to sign up for the September challenge.

Friend card for June CCC

It is time for the reveal over at the Card Chain Challenge blog... For June I got to send a card to Linda in Michigan.

I used Catherine Pooler inks and stamps for my Medallion.   It is from the latest Stamp of Approval Naturally Inspired and I stamped in Rockin' Red.  The Kasiercraft sentiment fitted beautifully in the middle.  I fussy cut it and pop dotted it onto the black and white striped card.   Added some sequins to finish.

I also got a beautiful card from Jutta in BC.

It is very pretty.  To see all the beautiful cards in the reveal post...pop over here .

I've signed up for July too... You have till the 6th July to sign up... at the CCC blog

Thanks for stopping by today.
