I started with some coloured paper I made earlier in the week... using the Smashin' Acetate technique. I added some extra distress inks around the edges and then used Rich Cocoa Momento ink to stamp the Dancing with Flowers. I added some Gold Liquid Pearls all over the image. To get the sentiment, I used two different ones from the same set... just inking up the words I wanted.... I trimmed the card to match the size of the panel I had made... so it is a bit shorter than a normal card.
Today's weather has been very wet. Rain, rain and more rain....our summer has been very wet. Still, it means being inside. Had a nap this afternoon as I am still not well... I think I'll have to give in and visit the doctor on Monday!
New Zealand also suffered a tragedy today.... 11 people were killed in an horrendous Hot Air Balloon accident. Thoughts and prayers to the families involved.
take care

Dawn, Love your card. It looks amazing. I do hope that you are feeling better really soon. We heard about the ballooning tragedy this morning. Like you we are thinking of those poor people xoxoxo
Such a sweet love card Dawn. Hope you are feeling better soon there really are some nasty bugs about at the moment. My throat infection lasted a good 12 days and I am still coughing at night. So sad about the balloon accident thinking about those families involved!

Love the colors - so beautifully done.
Dawn this is so sweet and whimsical and a delight to the eyes. Love the brown against the pink, and all those gold pearls :-).
Trust you recover soon - I too have been visiting the GP recently so I can empathize with you - not the right thing to be doing mid-summer.
Blessings
Maxine
