Photo Friday challenge # 7~Night

Carly set a cool challenge this week  {Night} Her photo is stunning... I thought I'd try to get a moon pic.... but it wasn't to be, this week -NO MOON -

So I popped out last night and decided to photograph the Hydrangeas in my backyard.

Night view

I'm really not that great a photographer but I'm having a go.  I like the way the flash caught the Hydrangeas and the background ferns look so spooky.

Thanks for coming with me in my photographic journey.

Tonight I'm going to be working on a presentation I have to do for a work place assessment course.  I have to do a 10 minute presentation on any subject.  I've decided to talk about Card-making and my Journey into this craft.  I did some research... did you know that the ancient Chinese and Egyptian gave hand written greetings.  I learnt a lot about it.  I've decided to do a practical demo and have organised some kits for the participants to do.... very very simple as I have only around 5 mins for them to put a card together.  I've folded card for the base and embossed and cut out 3 Hero Arts Heart Winged Butterfly... they will just need to colour it, stick some PP on the base and add the butterflies with some gems.  Hopefully, the presentation will get me a pass on the unit standard I am doing.

Thanks for visiting.  Have a great rest of the week.

Your hydrangeas are beautiful, Dawn! Long time before mine will bloom. Always reminds me of my mom who loved them.

Very cool photo, Dawn! Love your gorgeous hydrangeas - can't WAIT to see my own! And you're right, the ferns really DO look spooky. Best of luck with your presentation - great idea to do it on something you know so well and are comfortable with! Let us know how it goes - hugs! :)

Lovely contrast between the light bright flowers and the dark background.
