Holiday Cards Workshop ~ Bonus Day 1

I'm participating in the On-line class, Holiday Cards Workshop, and thoroughly enjoying them.  Over the weekend, we got a couple of bonus days samples.  One was a delightful card from Debby Hughes that used embossed and distressed Christmas Ornaments.

I have a Cuttlebug die ornament so I thought I'd have a go at using it.  I made two cards

Jolly Christmas

For this first one, I stamped and clear embossed a HOTP snowflake and then used a resist technique with Dried Marigold distress ink.  Both the ornament and the PP were swiped with a Pearl paint dauber to soften and add some iridescence. I added a tiny stripe of kraft and the top and some edge punched at the bottom.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.  Finished with ribbon and a gem.

Christmas Tidings.

For the second one, I used Shaded Lilac distress ink on the ornament.  The panel was also distressed with the lilac ink and then spritzed with gold Perfect Pearls.    The punched panel was also spritzed with the Gold Perfect Pearls.  The PP is from My Mind's Eye.  I used a gold paint pen to edge the entire piece.  I added the Hero Arts sentiment and some bling, so entered into the Hero Art challenge this month.

I'm working on my Mygrafico samples this week... we have changed things up a bit and I'll be showing my samples once a fortnight now on the 2nd and 4th Mondays.   And as it's Stamp Group this Saturday I'll be having some fun making more cards.  Nearly all the Christmas cards done now!

Busy day tomorrow at work, so off for an early night.

A big thanks to all my followers for visiting and welcome to those of you who are new.  I hope that you enjoy your visits.

The products are manufactured away from extremely high inside quality degree known as 'ugg boots sale'which means behaved about via both sides inner and also outer.
