Don't you just hate it when............

you carefully add all your elements onto your card base and ....... find you've added them upside down....

can you see what I mean?  Frustrating.

But never fare I managed to selvage it...

IMG_6975

I simply trimmed the black card and layered it onto a white base.

My stamped image is from Tim Holtz and is stamped with Black Archival ink onto some grey core'dation card and layered with black and more grey.  The gears are Peelcraft stickers added to black card which I then layered onto the grey card.

and I added some Peelcraft edge stickers to the inside

I'm finishing today with a photo I took of a newly hatched Monarch butterfly

Newly hatched butterfly

this butterfly had made it's cocoon on the cactus plant.  It was one of three that hatched today.  The sun was shinning and it warmed the wings.

Wishing you a happy weekend.

Great card dawn despite the 'oops' - in fact I like it on the white base. I have done that myself before today :-).
You had sunshine today - ours was the liquid type, all day
Blessings

Dawn, I can't tell you how many times I've done that! And I've salvaged it exactly the same way! LOL. I think I like it better on the white card base too. Seems to pop more. Great card!

Wonderful masculine card Dawn and a clever way to rescue your card.

Great card Dawn. It happens to me all the time but actually your card looks so much nicer with white base.

Great card Dawn - love the image. Isn't it awful when something like that happens - or you splotch it with an inky finger! Good save though! Love what you created. Beautiful butterfly - the chicks are coming out of nests here - found a little fledgling in the garden this morning. Hopping around under the hedge - my boys were wondering will it still be there when they get home from school! Hugs, D
