I recently got a RAK gift from Anita (Crafty Girl Designs). It was this gorgeous Hero Arts background stamp called Flower Medley Background. It's one I'd not seen before.
I wanted to try something a bit vintage looking. This reminded me of Vintage wallpaper. I stamped with Delicata Golden Glitz ink and clear embossed it onto cream card. I trimmed it to fit in the centre of a Hero Arts Latte card base. I did some edging with the ink. The sentiment was stamped with the Golden ink as well and trimmed with a Fiskars edge punch. I added a little gold ribbon and bow.
I have entered this into the Pride and Prejudice challenge at City Crafters Challenge
Hope you are all set for a crafty weekend. I managed to make a number of mini Thank you cards this afternoon.... and enjoyed a quick trip to the stamp shop ~ they had advertised a good special for an Envelope maker but of course by the time I got there they were sold out :=( Never mind, I've added my name to the next order. I've been struggling to find small envelopes for my mini cards and was looking forward to making some. I did pick up one little Couture Creations stamp set.
Well the second half of the All Blacks versus France rugby test has started - we are leading 17 to 10.

I love that background stamp Dawn! Love the gold embossing on your card!
Wonderful card Dawn - that stamp is amazing and you have showcased it beautifully.
And we won the rugby, but it was not a convincing win. I pre-ordered that envelope maker from another source and am still waiting for it to arrive...

Lovely. I don't think I've seen this background before either. You've done a marvelous card - vintage color and feel to it.
What a lovely gift (I had to look up what RAK means!), and you've used it so spectacularly! Love that border with the pattern you made. Have a great weekend - glad you are getting some crafting done! So am I, as it is too hot to be outside.
Hello Dawn
I enjoyed the AB's.
Your card is gorgeous and I like the Bg stamp also, it does suit the vintage colourings you have chosen, I can see great potential for this stamp!
Smiles:)
