Twofer Wreath.

https://twofercardchallenge.blogspot.com/2018/11/reminder-twofer-card-challenge-11-wreath.html

I haven't played along with Darnell's Twofer card challenge for awhile but the arrival of my Gina K Wreath Builder stencil this week, got me enthused to join this month's Wreath Challenge.

I took a couple of stamps from Catherine Pooler's Candy Cane Lane set (the two holly stamps and the matching berries) and started off my wreaths.  Both cards use the same design

I did the Christmas one first, using some Altenew inks for the holly leaves and the berries.  Once I had these done, I used some little peg stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry to fill in the rest of my wreath.  Added a few red Nuvo drops.   The centre of the wreath was stamped with a Penny Black sentiment.   I used my score board to make around the edges of the panel and mounted it onto a dark green mat.  The card base was also scored.

My second card is a fall colour card with a thankful theme.  I used the holly leaves in brown/orange inks and darker different greens for the extra little bits and pieces.  Added some dark blue glitter N dr

I die cut the thankful die from some shimmery brown card and added it as a mat as well.

I really enjoyed using the holly stamps as autumn leaves.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Way to think outside the box using holly for your fall wreath, Dawn! It turned out really lovely in fall colors and the cursive font on the bold "thankful" is gorgeous across the front! Your Christmas wreath is equally beautiful! I suppose you heard me slap my forehead when I first opened your post ~ I have lots of those sweet RT stamps and love using them on wreaths, but do I remember? NO! Thank you for the reminder and thank you for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #11! Hugs, Darnell

Who would have thought to use holly leaves for a fall wreath, yet they look perfect for it in that rusty tone! Love that shimmery word die! Your Christmas wreath is real pretty with that circle sentiment in the center. Fabulous that you used the little RT stamps to fill out the wreaths! Haven't used mine in ages!
Thank you so much for joining us at the Twofer!
